The Spanish Spree is the perfect blend of culture and party, both of which Spain has in abundance. See the Royal Palace in Madrid, the Alhambra in Granada and the Rock of Gibraltar, then cap off a fantastic holiday by watching the sun set over the Mediterranean on the beaches of Ibiza before some pre-party chill time at the Cafe del Mar.

Depart for Europe    Day 1 

Jet off to the trip of a lifetime awaiting you in Europe!

Arrive Madrid    Day 2

After checking in to your hotel, the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the Spanish capital. This evening meet your Contiki Tour Manager and fellow travellers at 6pm in the hotel. (Dinner included)

Madrid       Day 3 

Our morning sightseeing includes a guided tour of the Royal Palace. The rest of the day is free for you to discover this amazing city. Perhaps see the Bullring or visit the famous Prado Museum. Tonight why not enjoy the local nightlife? (Breakfast included)

Madrid to Cordoba    Day 4 

Today begins with a morning drive to Toledo, where we see the Gothic cathedral and El Greco's house. We then head south into the heart of Andalusia. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Cordoba to Seville    Day 5 

Time this morning to explore the cavernous depths of the Cordoba Mezquita. Later we travel to the host city of the 1992 World Expo - Seville. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Seville     Day 6 

Today take the opportunity to visit the tomb of Christopher Columbus and the famous Giralda. Perhaps join us for a visit to the Plaza de Toros before indulging in some of the local tapas. (Breakfast included)

Seville to Granada    Day 7

Today we visit Gibraltar before travelling east through the Sierra Nevada mountains to the town of Granada which is steeped in Moorish history. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Granada     Day 8 

Today an included visit of the spectacular former residence of the Moorish Kings - the Alhambra Palace. You'll also have a chance to visit the historic Albaicin district of this city. (Breakfast included)

Granada to Valencia     Day 9

Continuing east we make our way to the Orange Blossom Coast and its capital, Valencia. Join us for an orientation tour and see the medieval Cathedral, home to the Holy Grail. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Valencia to Barcelona    Day 10 

Today we travel to the 1992 Olympic city of Barcelona. Arriving early evening we see some of the famous sights, including the Sagrada Familia and Montjuic. After dinner why not head out and explore one of Europe's liveliest cities? (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Barcelona    Day 11 

Our included sightseeing tour is a great introduction to this celebrated city. See Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Cathedral, the 1992 Olympic Complex and the Gothic district. A chance to experience Barcelona's famed shopping street La Rambla and discover some of Spain's specialties. (Breakfast included)

Barcelona to Madrid     Day 12 

We travel west to Zaragoza. See the impressive Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar. A chance to lunch in this city of four cultures. Then it's on to Madrid! Tonight the chance to end your Spanish experience with a traditional meal in the heart of the city. (Breakfast included)

Depart Madrid     Day 13

Time to swap addresses and say farewell to your new-found friends as your tour ends after breakfast. (Breakfast included)
