Weekend Coed Intermediate Mountain Biking Camp

Have you been riding for a few years and want to progress? Or maybe you’re already a solid rider and want to take your skills to the race level. Whatever your riding abilities, our certified, experienced mountain bike coaches have the skills and knowhow to help you there in the supportive company of other riders. The camp features 2 days of riding and coaching on the XC trails of Buckwallow MTB park. Accommodation, breakfasts and lunches, and admission are included in this amazing weekend. Prepare to ride like a pro!

Ride Guide: 100% off-road, featuring a mixture of smooth XC singletrack and rough, technical terrain. There is lots of Canadian Shield rock at Buckwallow – a ton of fun! Suited to strong intermediate to advanced bikers with at least 3 years mountain biking experience and a moderate to high level of fitness who want to improve their bike handling skills. Min. 2 coaches are included (Max. 7 to 1 coach to rider ratio). Average 5-6 hours of coaching/riding per day.

We’ll cover a wide variety of skills at this camp. We’ll break into different skill level groups, and start with the fundamentals, moving on to basic skills and then more advanced skills (even advanced riders will benefit from covering the fundamentals and basic skills.)

Fundamentals

Neutral position, bike/body separation, pedal position, gearing, cadence.

Basic Skills

Climbing, descending, braking, cornering, straight-line riding, switchbacks, lunges.

Advanced Skills

Manuals, high speed cornering, drops, rock rolls, riding skinnies, picking a line, technical climbs and descents.

Any damage to the interior or exterior of equipment or venue which is caused by the individual signing up for this tour, is liable for the cost to repair any such damage as well as any cost for loss of the carriers service due to such damage. The driver and/or tour director has the right to eject any disruptive person who is abusive, poses a safety threat to other passengers, or any person who engages in the use of illegal substance. The act of signing up for this event makes the individual solely responsible for his/her safety while on the tour, at the completion of the tour and at all venues throughout this tour. In consideration of the right to participate in this event, the individual hereby assumes all risks, and will hold the owners operators, employees and agent of Meet Market Adventures Incorporated harmless from any and all liability, actions, debts, claims and demands of every kind and nature whatsoever. The terms hereof shall serve as a release and assumption of risk for my heirs, executors, and administrators for all members of my family including any friends accompanying me. The act of signing up for this event agrees that the individual, if intoxicated, will not operate a motorized vehicle after leaving the tour. The act of signing up for this event relieves Meet Market Adventures Incorporated, their employees, directors, vendors and contractors from any liability and responsibility for any claims for injuries, loss, damage, liability criminal or civil litigation for the individual arising out or relating to a tour.
