North America’s Best Cities for Singles

What are the best cities in America for singles? We’ve taken some time to look around, weigh some things and come up with an answer. While everyone’s scale is bound to be different, we think we’ve done a pretty good job. What do you think?

1. New York Singles

What doesn’t New York have going for it when it comes to the singles scene? Aside from having a huge and dense population, with more than enough singles to sort through, it’s also a multicultural wonderland in which you can meet people of just about any background imaginable. Once you’ve met them, you can do pretty much anything you want as the possibilities in New York for singles are endless.

2. Toronto Singles

We actually had a hard time deciding between Toronto and New York when it came to the number one spot, because most everything there was to be said about one could be said for the other as well. What’s nice about Toronto though, is that the general population are amongst the biggest users of social media in the world, making it a great place for those who like meeting online.

3. Chicago Singles

The great thing about Chicago, for singles, is that the nightlife is incredible. There they’ve got all the big name restaurants to choose from, as well as top notch dining from places the rest of the world’s never heard of. Chicago is also known for their vibrant young citizens, which of course translates oh so often into sexy singles living a great nightlife.

4. San Francisco Singles

San Francisco Singles are hot. There, I said it. They also get to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the Americas, and one in which you can get around happily on foot. Done with this bar? Walk to that bar. You can go all night, and then watch the sun rise at one of the dozens of San Francisco landmarks that romantic movies have made famous.

5. Montreal Singles

Montreal is the Canadian city that doesn’t sleep, meaning the singles here keep going, and going. Not only are there clubs and dining to suit every taste, but everything feels like it’s next door to everything else. You can even leave the hustle and bustle of its big city feel by taking a short walk to the romantic, though touristy, Old City.
