Are Assistants a Viable Solution for Free Online Dating Sites?

Free online dating can be a very daunting task for anyone who has to search the hundreds of profiles posted online. It takes time and dedication to filter through and find prospects that match your criteria. Once you have your selection, further time is required to send out mails and read through the replies that come back. Needless to say, you would be looking at spending more than a few hours a day to stay on top of things and increase your chances of getting a date.
So what do you do when you are working over 70 hours a week and just do not have the time, or creative writing skills to hook a date?
Online Dating Assistants are an extra service that some free online dating and “pay to use” companies are now offering if one is willing to pay. Think of it as outsourcing. The same way a company hands over some of its activities to an outside specialist agency to free up more time, online dating assistants would take care of all the ground work for you.
They would start by building up your profile and getting a feel for what you like, and learn about your personality so that they can reflect this in the communication with the potential dates. Once these assistants have all the relevant details, they will actively search and select women or men based on what you like.
At this point, these assistants will then proceed to write and send messages that will attract and portray your best aspect to the other person. This will continue up to the point where a date and meeting is agreed. From this point onwards, they will then pass on all the correspondence to their client to review. Once the client is happy with the correspondence, he or she then steps in to meet the new date personally.
This method of dating can be quite delicate as many would find it a cheap and dishonest way to gain the trust of the potential partner. Those first opening lines of communication are what really count for many, and some may find they lose a big part of that by using dating assistants.
Because of the possible negative consequences that can occur from using a personal assistant to write your profile, such as accidentally being dishonest, it is essential that you spend enough time with the assistant in order to give him more than enough information about yourself so that the overall communication with your partners can be as accurate as possible. However, no matter how honest your intentions are when using a service such as this, it will always be open to debate.
My personal take on this is that if you are really looking for a date, then you should dedicate some time in order to find your potential partner. If you really wanted to date somebody, you wouldn’t feel that you are too busy to do so.
There must be other ways in which one could better manage their time in order to write a profile and reply to their messages. If you think about it, online dating, whether it is free or not, has been designed to help busy individuals find a partner. All you have to do from the desk of your office is sign in to the dating site, read a few messages, and then reply. Would you really need an assistant to do all of this?
Imagine if you were the partner that the assistant was writing to. Would you be forgiving if you found out that all along you are sharing your feelings with the wrong person simply because the real person felt that they were too busy to do it themselves?
In the end we have to remember that we are dealing with other people’s feelings when we take actions such as this. If we are unable to treat people right, even before we begin to build a relationship with them, how on earth is it possible to maintain that relationship with this type of approach?
These are questions that you should seriously ask yourself before deciding on choosing one of these assistants, because not only are you potentially wasting your money if things don’t go right, you are also hurting somebody else’s feelings when they do find out the truth, which usually will come out sooner or later.
