About me
Youthful for my age in body and spirit, I'm pretty fit, and try to keep a precarious balance between healthy living and an occasional indulgence. No major obsessions I'm aware of, though maybe you could point some out. People have called me refined and gentlemanly, but you'll have to judge for yourself. I like most kinds of music, but jazz and blues are something special. I live near downtown and enjoy the many advantages of urban life, including live music and good films. I still like to get out of the city though, away from the smog and noise. I prefer getting exercise outdoors rather than in a smelly gym, whether it's on skis, a road bike or a tennis court. Indoor activities include puttering around my elderly condo in a perpetual effort to make it better. I'm a professional in a creative/design/technical field, and work mostly as a teacher.

What I'm looking for
You're an active, outdoorsy woman with intelligence, wit and humour. If you work in a creative or technical field that's good; if you enjoy skiing, cycling, tennis or photography, even better. You'd like to find a relationship, but are open to ending up just friends. As for relationships, common interests can help, but we should definitely share how we look and laugh at everyday life. Differences can make things interesting too, and we should be open to learning from each other. Above all, it's a matter of that elusive chemistry - simply being with each other makes us feel good.
