About me

I am an acquired taste. I am feminine, but have been told I think like a man. People who know me to be sentimental and silly tell me they thought I was intimidating when we first met. I love Shakespeare and don't need to read the synopsis to know what's going on, but I also adore comedy clubs with beer-soaked floors. My teenaged daughter describes me as laid-back and fun. My students describe me as intense and demanding. I am kind of like cilantro. You will either think I'm delicious or that I taste like soap. C'est la vie.

Other interests

I spend a lot of time trying to learn to jump horses over bigger and bigger fences. That's where most of my free time and energy goes.

What I'm looking for

I want to meet someone who can make me laugh and teach me something new. I have a busy and demanding life, so if you are looking for someone who can airdrop into your life I will disappoint you. But I will be patient with the demands on your schedule. I would rather have one great date a week than lots of couch time, with little excitement - not to discount the excitement potential of couch time.
