(For 4 people)



4 Bosc Pears
Dark bitter sweet chocolate 8 squares
Non-salted butter (two table spoons)

Peel the pears but to not remove the stem
Put pot of cold water on stove to completely cover the pears
Bring the water to a boil
Boil the pears for approx ½ hour to 45 min
Prick the pears with a fork to see if they have softened
When they have softened remove from water and set aside

In a double boiler heat the chocolate. It is important to not let the water boil, as soon as it does close the heat and the chocolate will melt in minutes. Remember not to add any water or other things to the c chocolate or it will not melt properly.

Pour the chocolate over the pears and enjoy!!

If you do not have nut allergies you can add some slivered almonds
