Sorry I also missed the Hartshorne Hike... looks like the group had fun while I was dealing with a sinus headache (thanks to Hurricane Noel!). I'm already booked for the Gap hike on the 17th and will book the Renault Wine/Brunch later today.

Greetings to newbies Dave and Janice.... I've been to a handful of events over the past two months and have always had a good time regardless of the demographics (which do vary so its best to just jump in and see what happens). I think the median age at indoor climbing a few weeks ago was a bit lower than what I'd seen at other events...probably b/c the younger members can heal from injuries quicker ;)

John, did the "Intro Game" switch to activities instead of food?...gotta stay sharp with this group!

Joanne basically called Buona Sera correctly... in a group your fine; otherwise you have to have a good wingman/woman or you may become a bad pick-up statistic.... the dining areas are far enough away from the "cluby" area so you can enjoy a great meal without a hassle.
