Afternoon of Card and Board Games

What a great day! Pulled up our chairs, rolled up our sleeves and got ready to play. During a game of Taboo, Vincent, Eva, Micheal and I spit out every word and synonym known to man (including uhhh, ummm, ohhhh and wow…!) in order to describe an utterly mundane thing without using any mentioned on the forbidden list. A feat much easier said than done!

Derek masterfully taught the art of Texas Hold ‘Em Poker to all and we eagerly split into groups and piled up our chips for a part of the action. What a game! For anyone who has never played before, it can quickly become addictive, so beginners beware! We ended the afternoon, raising and bluffing and scratching our heads and blinking when our luck turned with the flop! Big thanks to Reynald for all his help and guidance (congrats to Tom for pulling a fast one on the boys) and as for Daniel, how in the world can a guy be lucky so often?

Vegas anyone?
