Charity Event for displaced Kenyans

The SFU School for International Studies and the Kenya Peace and Solidarity Committee (KPSC) are proud to present an upcoming event to raise funds to support ongoing resettlement of the over 150,000 Kenyans who remain displaced from their homes as a result of the post-election violence earlier this year.

The event takes place on Saturday, 26 July at the Shark Club downtown (see attached poster), 180 W. Georgia Street; doors from 8-10 pm. Come join us for a fun evening out and contribute to a great cause at the same time! Tickets cost $10.00 each and come with one complimentary drink. For those of you who are attending the fireworks that night, come join us for a laugh on your way to the festivities! If you cannot attend the event, the committee will gladly accept donations in lieu of attendance. EVERY PENNY of every ticket/donation will be sent directly to the Red Cross in Kenya.
