Yep! I went alone. Took some guts but I was like what the heck after a few beers I'll be fine. Turns out I had a great time and danced the night away with a few ladies. They gave each person a puzzel piece and you had to go around to a person of the opposite sex and ask them if they had the piece that fits with yours. I never found my fit but I got to talk to a buch of the ladies that I normally would have felt shy aproaching. I'm 33.
