Adopt A Family This Holiday Season / New Years party

Hello All...

Just wondering if anyone is going to the Adopt A Family - charity event or if anyone has gone to a event like this one. I'd be interested in hearing some feedback regarding this event. I have not been to a event yet, so this one may be my first.

Also, I am wondering if anyone can comment on the new years party. How many people go alone to this party?? It's a little intimidating to go by yourself, and this is the first new years i'll be alone in the past decade. I am 29yo.
