Join MMA and other outdoor enthusiasts for a fun filled day. Cooking Lake has almost 85km's of hiking trails and back's onto Elk Island National Park. There is allot of wildlife to be seen and the paths are well groomed.  We will be doing an approx 7.5km hike with stop along the way. This is an easy to moderate hike.

Directions:

Take the Yellowhead East towards Elk Island National Park. As you start to get close you will see signs for Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area. Just as you are about to enter the National Park there is a huge sign that says "Elk Island National ParK" There is a road there "Range Road 210" Make a right and head south for 7km. Cooking Lake Provincial is on your left side.
