Join Meet Market Adventurers and other workout buffs for an intro to Spinning class at one of Vancouver's premier clubs - the Steve Nash Sports Club. Spinning is a form of high-intensity exercise that involves the use of a stationary exercise bicycle in a classroom setting. Workout routines are designed to simulate terrain and situations encountered in actual bicycle rides, including hill climbs, sprints and interval training. The instructor uses music and enthusiastic coaching to motivate students to work hard and build up a sweat!

As first-timers to the world of spinning we will be taught how to adjust the bike to suit our bodies and leg length, hand positions used to increase muscle isolation, and proper cycling techniques. After this class, we will have the basic skills and "know how" to be confident enough to join other classes or to head outside for some "traditional" cycling.

So whether your goal is to get your heart pounding, burn calories or just to get active and try something new, you'll love this Intro to Spinning adventure!
