Join Meet Market Adventures and other single outdoor enthusiasts, for a fun-filled day of hiking and swimming around Canopus Lake. We follow the Appalachian Trail for 5 miles as it winds through the forest in this beautiful state park.

The path is rocky, but not too steep. We will clamber up an outcrop to our lunch spot: a high point with a splendid vista overlooking all of Canopus Lake. We'll see gliding birds of prey and birches swaying on the peak. We will stop for lunch and a swim at the pristine lakeshore. The price includes: round trip transportation, park admission, guides, prizes and taxes.

BRING: Your lunch, swim suit, towel and plenty of water.

WEAR: Hiking boots/shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen.

DEPARTURE: Our passenger vans depart from Union Square: 4th Avenue between 14th and 15th in front of Starbucks.
