Are you prepared to defend yourself alone in an encounter? ~ With training you can! This is a hands-on course to learn self defense concepts quickly and easily. The program focuses equally on physical, verbal and psychological defense strategies with emphasis on preventing an assault. Our multi-dimensional approach to safety insures that all participants will have a range of skills to effectively protect themselves. We encourage the participants to empower themselves by developing their own preventative strategies.  

Some of the things you will learn: Verbal skill development, Developing a "YOU CAN WIN" attitude, Defending yourself when you are on the ground, Offensive kicking, striking and defensive techniques, How to defend against various types of grabs and holds, and defending against improvised weapons.

We believe that the most valuable fighting techniques are those that work against every type of opponent. A technique must be effective not only in the restricted conditions of the dojo, but in real situations where your opponent could be anyone, a martial artist, a street bully or someone with physical skill you might not anticipate.
