Join Meet Market Adventures for an introductory Rock Climbing day is for adventuresome singles wanting to learn to climb. No experience necessary! During this 3-hour introductory class, you will learn all the fundamentals of rock climbing presented by our certified guides. We will learn about climbing equipment, climbing commands and techniques. You will have ample time to practice these basics and enjoy the view from the top.

All technical equipment is included. All you need is a desire to learn to climb and we will take care of the rest!

BRING: Your lunch, plenty of water, snacks, backpack/day pack & closed toed shoes (i.e. sneakers, etc).

DIRECTIONS:

Ralph Stover State Park is located along the Tohickon Creek, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, not far from the Delaware River. The park is just north of Point Pleasant and about 9 miles north of New Hope.

From the North:   (Riegelsville) via Rt 611 S: From Rt 611 South, turn left onto Rt 413 S.  Continue About ¼ miles to Pipersville, then turn left onto Dark Hollow Rd.  Follow this over the Tohickon Creek, then about 1m later, turn right onto State Park Road.  Follow this for about ½ mile, then turn left onto Tory Road (gravel).  A few hundred feet down this, turn left into High Rocks Parking Lot.

From the East:  (New Jersey) via Rt 202.  Follow Rt 202W across the Delaware River via a toll bridge.  Make an immediate right turn and a left turn onto River Rd (Rt 32) North. Follow River Road (Rt 32) north to Point Pleasant.  As you are entering Pt. Pleasant, follow River Rd sharply right over a stone bridge (IGNORE THE SIGN POINTING LEFT TO RALPH STOVER STATE PARK BEFORE THE BRIDGE).  Pass a general store on the left and make the next left onto Cafferty Rd.  Continue passing a park and camp area making a left on Tory Road.  Tory Road splits to the left and becomes a gravel road, High Rocks Parking Lot on right.

From the South:  (New Hope) via River Rd (Rt 32):  Follow River Road (Rt 32) north to Point Pleasant.  As you are entering Pt. Pleasant, follow River Rd sharply right over a stone bridge (IGNORE THE SIGN POINTING LEFT TO RALPH STOVER STATE PARK BEFORE THE BRIDGE).  Pass a general store on the left and make the next left onto Cafferty Rd.  Continue passing a park and camp area making a left on Tory Road.  Tory Road splits to the left and becomes a gravel road, High Rocks Parking Lot on Right

From the West: (Doylestown) via Rt 611 N: Follow 611 N about 3 miles and turn Right on Silo Hill Road (south) which shortly ends at Point Pleasant Pike.  Turn left and continue towards Point Pleasant.  Turn left over the stone bridge onto River Road (Rt 32) N, and make a Left onto Cafferty Road. Continue on Cafferty Road passing a park and camp area making a left on Tory Road.  Tory Road splits to the left and becomes a gravel road, High Rocks Parking Lot on right.
