Ahoy and welcome aboard! Join Meet Market Adventures and other single sailors as we enjoy a sunset sail on beautiful Lac Deschênes.  Come sail the dream!  Try out your sea legs, haul the halyards and trim the sails, aboard these 22 – 24 foot keelboats: Tanzers, Sonars or Sharks!

Before setting sail, our skipper will provide us with a brief introduction to the basics of sailing and the particulars for the keelboats.  We will work as a team to learn basic crewing skills. This hands-on experience will have you maneuvering around the sailboats in no time!  Sailing is a fun, relaxing, rewarding, challenging and adventurous pastime.  Join us and make this a summer adventure to remember!  Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water & sunscreen. 


Price includes: Lesson, 2 hours on the water, meeting new singles, and all taxes

What to Bring:


1.         D.O.T. approved personal floatation device (PFD/Lifejacket) is provided but you may bring your own if you so wish.
 
2.         Deck or other soft non-marking shoes with a grip is a must.   Please no flip-flops or open toe sandals.
 
3.         Water bottle(s) is recommended especially on hot, sunny days.
 
4.         Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (even on cloudy days).
 
5.         Sweater/fleece, jacket and some rain gear.
 
6.         Camera, in a waterproof bag – plastic or zip-lock works well.


** You can bring these items aboard the boat in a small soft-sided duffle bag that zips or snaps shut.  If the bag is waterproof, even better!
