Join Meet Market Adventures for a thrill of a lifetime! You’ll experience this exciting adventure that’s catching the country by storm.

You’ll learn the basics of ice climbing, belaying, receive instruction, and the aid of an experienced ice climber. All equipment is provided. The Alpine Club of Canada gives us the chance to learn this great sport in one of the few cities that has an Ice Tower within city limits. To learn this sport in any other city would mean travelling, and a much higher cost. The 60 foot high 3-sided permanent ice tower offers a variety of ice climbing in varying degrees of difficulty.

We’ll take over the tower, and be introduced to the basics of Ice Climbing, and receive experienced help thru our first climb. There will be a heated trailer onsite to warm up in, and we'll bring along some Hot Chocolate to keep us warm.

*Toque (that covers ears)
*Long Underwear
*Sweater *Pants: no jeans *Pants: wind & waterproof over pants. *Gloves
*Insulated Jacket: eg. down or hollow fill ski or winter jacket *Downhill ski boots (If you have them)
