*Toque (that covers ears): wool or polar plus
*Balaclava: lightweight wool or polar fleece
*Underwear: tops & bottoms of midweight polyproplene
*Sweater: wool or polar plus
*Pants: no jeans - wool or polar plus only
*Socks: lightweight & heavyweight wool or polar fleece (2 pairs)
*Gloves: polypropylene
*Gloves: heavyweight, wool or polar fleece
*Mitts: heavyweight, wool or polar fleece
*Overmitts: wind & waterproof material
*Pants: wind & waterproof overpants
*Jacket: wind & waterproof
*Insulated Jacket: eg. down or hollow fill ski or winter jacket
*Sunglasses or Safety Glasses: shatter-proof (THIS IS A MUST HAVE ITEM)

*Boots: felt pack insulated Sorrel type boots are best.
